Kreston Menon is currently seeking an Internal Auditor to join our team at our Head Office in Dubai, Business Bay. In this role, you will be responsible for assessing and enhancing the organization’s risk management, control, and governance processes. This will involve collaborating with various departments to evaluate internal controls, improve operational efficiency, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.

Your key responsibilities
*  Develop audit plans with stakeholders based on risk assessment.
*  Conduct internal audits to check controls and compliance.
*  Risk Assessment: Identify and evaluate organizational risks & Recommend improvements to manage risks better.
*  Process Improvement: Work with teams to find ways to work better & Suggest changes to improve efficiency and reduce risk.
*  Regulatory Compliance: Keep up with laws and regulations & Help ensure the organization follows the rules.
*  Stakeholder Communication: Share findings and plans with stakeholders & Work with management to solve problems.

To qualify for the role, you must have
*  Minimum of 1-2 years of post qualification Internal Audit experience.
*  Must have obtained professional certifications: Chartered Accountant (CA), Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA), Certified Internal Auditor (CIA)
•  Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact professionally with clients and internal stakeholders.
*  Ability to travel

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial reporting, project accounting, cost management, VAT and Corporate Tax exposure. This role requires a detail-oriented professional with excellent analytical skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

• Financial Reporting: Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.

• Project Accounting: Oversee project budgets, track project costs, and ensure accurate revenue recognition.

• Cost Management: Monitor and control project expenses, ensuring adherence to budgets.

• Compliance: Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations and standards.

• Auditing: Assist with internal and external audits, providing necessary documentation and support.

Requirements

• Chartered Accountant/ACCA

• Minimum of 6 years of accounting experience in the construction or contracting industry.

• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices, specifically related to construction and contracting industry

• Proficiency in accounting software and ERP Solutions

• Excellent analytical skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a high level of integrity and professionalism.

Kreston Menon is looking for 2 Audit Managers with extensive file review experience to join our dynamic team. As an Audit Manager, you will play a critical role in overseeing audit engagements, ensuring compliance with professional standards and providing guidance to audit teams. Your expertise in file review will be instrumental in maintaining the quality and accuracy of our audit documentation.

The position will be based in India, servicing clients from the Middle East.

Responsibilities
• Manage audit engagements ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets.
• Conduct comprehensive reviews of audit files to assess completeness, accuracy, and compliance with auditing standards and firm policies.
• Provide constructive feedback and guidance to audit teams on file preparation, documentation and workpaper organization.
• Collaborate with partners and senior management to develop audit strategies, identify risks, and enhance audit methodologies.
• Stay current on regulatory changes, accounting standards and industry trends affecting audit engagements.

Requirements

• Qualified Chartered Accountant with managerial level experience in any Big 4 firms.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in external audit engagements.
• Proficiency in audit software and tools (Caseware or similar).
• Proven track record of successfully managing audit engagements and leading audit teams.
• Strong technical knowledge in IFRS, ISA, ISQM, and IESBA Code of Ethics.
• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to identify issues, assess risks, and propose practical solutions.
• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact professionally with clients and internal stakeholders.
